We had the chance to visit one of Austrias most beautiful places: Hochfügen im Zillertal. Our accommodation is called „Almnest“ which is a really cozy and romantic chalet. It belongs to the same chain like Hotel Almhof.
When we arrived at Hochfügen we were received by very friendly employees from the Hotel Almhof. One of them showed us the Almnest. This was the most cozy chalet we have ever seen. Besides a lovely kitchen and a beautiful bedroom, there was a very elegant bath. The highlight of this accommodation was the exterior where we had our own sauna and whirlpool which is also perfect for winter times because it is heated.
The position of the chalet is perfect for skiing and snowboarding in winter. The lift can be reached by walking a few minutes and brings you directly to the top of an amazing and huge ski area.
The breakfast which is included in the price is delicious and diverse. We also have to emphasize the five-course dinner we have had in the evening. The set menu was very tasty for a low price but it is also possible to choose another meal on your own.
We can definitely recommend the „Almnest“, especially for anniversarys, valentines days or in general as a present for your partner.
