Lucas grandpa moved to Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler which is located in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. That’s why we have visited the small city and the „Steigenberger Hotel“. The building of this hotel looks very impressive and huge from outside. On the other side of the street is a big casino which looks very beautiful as well.
When we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and we got our room keys. Our room was big and beautifully furnished. We had a dressing room inside it and we really liked the elegant bathroom which also provided sufficient space. The view from our room was totally amazing. We enjoyed the view on the casino from our two small balconies.
As a little gift we got an apple and two chocolate muffins. The room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay in it.
The breakfast in the „Steigenberger Hotel“ is one of the best we ever had. There is a huge variety of sweet and salty food. We loved the fresh orange juice and as well the different breads, cakes and fruits. Besides, there was a person who freshly prepared egg dishes. The room where we ate was very big and as well elegant decorated.
In the evening we were also one time in the cafe of the hotel. The food we ordered was good but expensive.
When we were in the hotel a big part wellness area was closed unfortunately because it was renovated. In the first half of 2020 the wellness area which includes 800m2 will open again. There will be thermal water swimming pool, different kinds of saunas, a garden area and much more. That’s definitely a reason for us to come back to enjoy the wellness zone.
The price of the hotel various a bit so that there are price differences over different days and weekends. We would recommend to book early and look for not so expensive days. All in all, we can really give a good feedback about this hotel and can’t say any negative things from our stay.
